Farmer's Navigator ("the Site") is a free educational resource that provides information about government agricultural programs including EQIP, CSP, FSA loans, crop insurance, disaster assistance, and related federal and state programs. The Site includes educational guides, interactive tools, and Navigator Pulse, a daily operational briefing for farmers and ranchers. The Site is operated by Farmer's Navigator, LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

The information on this Site is for general educational purposes only. It is not financial advice, legal advice, tax advice, insurance advice, or a substitute for professional consultation. We are not a crop insurance agency, licensed financial advisors, attorneys, or certified public accountants.

Government program details, including payment rates, eligibility requirements, application deadlines, and ranking criteria, change frequently and vary by state and local office. While we make reasonable efforts to keep information current and accurate, we cannot guarantee that every detail on the Site reflects the most recent program rules.

Always verify information with your local USDA Service Center (NRCS or FSA office) or your licensed crop insurance agent before making decisions about your operation. Your local office and your agent are the authoritative sources for current program details.

Interactive Tools and Calculators

The Site includes interactive tools such as the eligibility screener, PRF analysis, LRP calculator, ARC/PLC comparison, and other program calculators. These tools use publicly available data and standard formulas to produce estimates and educational illustrations, not guarantees of coverage, payments, premiums, or eligibility.

Actual crop insurance premiums, coverage levels, and indemnity payments are determined by the USDA Risk Management Agency and your approved insurance provider. Actual program eligibility and payments are determined by USDA agencies (NRCS, FSA) based on their current rules, your specific operation, and available funding. Our tools help you prepare for those conversations, they do not replace them.

Eligibility Screener

The eligibility screener provides general estimates of which programs you may qualify for and approximate funding ranges. These estimates are based on broad program parameters and the information you provide. They are not guarantees of eligibility, funding amounts, or application outcomes.

Navigator Pulse

Navigator Pulse is a free daily briefing personalized to your operation. You may enter settings to customize your experience. Your settings are stored locally in your browser and are not transmitted to our servers as of March 2026. If this changes, we will update these terms before it takes effect.

By using Navigator Pulse, you agree that we may use aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve our tools and develop new features.

Market Data and Weather Information

Navigator Pulse and other tools display market prices, weather forecasts, drought conditions, and other data sourced from public agencies and data providers including NOAA, USGS, USDM, and CME Group. We display this data as-is for informational purposes. We are not responsible for errors, delays, or interruptions in the source data. Market data may be delayed and should not be used as the sole basis for trading or business decisions.

No Guarantee of Accuracy

We strive to provide accurate, helpful information, but we make no warranties or representations about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the information on this Site. Any reliance you place on the information is at your own risk.
